The 12V Jump Starter / Power Pack is a vital roadside rescue tool designed specifically to jump-start or boost the low-voltage auxiliary system on electric and hybrid vehicles. Although EVs rely on massive high-voltage traction batteries (400V–800V) to drive the wheels, the vehicle's onboard computers, safety contactors, keyless entry systems, electric parking brakes, and shift actuators are powered entirely by a standard 12V auxiliary battery.

When the 12V battery drains completely, the main high-voltage contactors cannot close, rendering the EV completely unresponsive and locking the drivetrain in park. This portable, high-current jump starter quickly energizes the 12V electrical system, allowing the driver or recovery technician to disengage the electronic parking brake, shift the vehicle into neutral for flatbed loading, or engage the high-voltage system to initiate charging.
